Army Chief Raheel Sharif Approves Death Sentences of Five Terrorists


ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday ratified the death sentence of five “hard core” terrorists involved in various acts of terrorism.

In a press statement, army’s chief spokesman Maj-Gen Asim Bajwa said that the convicted terrorists were involved in the murder of an advocate in Lahore and sectarian killings in Quetta. They were found guilty of attacks on a police officer at Gadab in Karachi, breaking Bannu jail, attacking girls school and polio teams in Khyber Agency.
