COAS asks UK for role in checking int’l financing of terrorists


LONDON: The Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif held a meeting with Britain’s permanent Home Secretary Theresa May, according to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR).

DG ISPR, Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa in a message on twitter said, COAS Gen. Raheel asked UK to play role in checking international financing and communication of terrorists.

Earlier, General Raheel Sharif, while addressing a seminar at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), said that Pakistan’s disputes with India reside in the Kashmir issue.
